Begin with a purifying bath and wear clean, preferably white or light-colored clothes. Clean the puja area and arrange all necessary items.

Items needed: Clean water, flowers, incense, diya, fruits, sweets

ध्यान और आह्वान (Meditation & Invocation)

Sit facing the deity in a meditative posture. Close your eyes and invoke Bhagwan Suvidhinath's presence with sincere devotion.

अष्टद्रव्य पूजा (Eight-Substance Worship)

Offer the eight sacred substances: water, sandalwood, flowers, incense, lamp, rice, sweets, and fruits with specific mantras.

Celebrating the Divine Birth

Festival Significance

Janma Kalyanak celebrates the auspicious birth of Bhagwan Suvidhinath, the 9th Tirthankara. This sacred day marks the beginning of his divine journey that would eventually lead countless souls to liberation.

According to Jain scriptures, Suvidhinath was born in the city of Kakandi to King Sugriva and Queen Rama Devi. The entire universe rejoiced at his birth with divine celebrations.
